Interview: Nick Barrucci on Green Hornet

Nick Barrucci is the President of Dynamite Entertainment. Recently he spoke with Westfield’s Roger Ash about Dynamite’s new Green Hornet series, which kicks off with a story by filmmaker Kevin Smith.

Westfield: How did this project come about?

Nick Barrucci: Well, we’ve been pursuing the Green Hornet license for over four years and we’ve had quite a few writers asking us about the series. We did not feel it prudent to discuss the series until the contracts were signed, we did not even want to have preliminary conversations as if we did not get the license it would have been putting the cart before the horse. So after four years of pursuing, we finally got the license.
