Updated: 10/31/02 Shipping charges change You will notice this month a new schedule for shipping charges. Though we are always reluctant to ask our customers to pay more, we simply can’t assimilate the increased charges that have been passed on to us in the past couple of years. All of the shipping companies have raised their rates substantially, and added fuel surcharges as well. We have done an analysis of the shipping and handling fees of many other companies so we know that our new postage charges are competitive. As always, we welcome your comments, and we thank you for your understanding and support. Our goal is to continue to provide you with the best service possible. Special sections You’ll notice a few special sections spread this month, such as Aquaman related items; a section dedicated to the creators of Image’s new superhero books; a selection of Max Allan Collins books; and more. We hope these sections will inspire you to try other books by featured creators, or items related to a certain character or theme. Let us know how you like these new sections. Cave Girl #2 update Cave Girl #2 (OCT 02) has been canceled by AC Comics. This issue was to have been signed by artist Andrew Pepoy. The story Andrew's illustrating will now appear in Femforce #117 (NOV 02) and he's agreed to sign that issue for us instead. Thanks Andrew! Josh Blaylock interview correction In the Josh Blaylock interview we printed last month, there was an error in Mr. Blaylock’s first response. The line that read "We’re picking up where the ‘80s series left off which said that Cobra was weakened and fractionalized to the point of not existing any more except in small, tiny factions broken up across the world in the early ‘90s when the G.I. Joe team was disbanded.", should have read "We're picking up 7 years after the 80's series, and claim that after the team disbanded, Cobra was weakened..." We apologize for any problems this may have caused. An important note about Mature Reader titles Due to the inexactitude of publishers’ labeling, it is becoming increasingly difficult to identify material which has merely a mature-theme vs. material which is explicit in nature.In an effort to avoid selling any inappropriate material to minors, we are changing the methods by which we identify and process items of a mature/adult nature:
